caoticA_lex: tribute to Dirac (scroll for Italian)
This work is a distributed and interactive installation born from the necessity to visualize what
usually is impossible to visualize: a chaotic algorithm.
In the 2009 I spent a long period through the Molise mountains: the Mainarde.
I not only learned the basis of Raku ceramics over there with a great artist: Romina Mazzocco, but for the first time I felt the
nature in all of its power and beauty: the colors of the montains, the sun, the lake and the river... frogs and dragonflyes around me. After some times I found myself perceiving Time in a different manner: flowing in and out of me like the water from the river to the lake.
In the lack of external noises the buzzing filling my ears changed into inner voices that I usually forget to listen to, forgotten and unheard reflections usually covered from the chaos of my city of origin: Rome.
My body through this inner dialogue changing into tree, stone, lake, slowing my limbs
like they wanted to stop and listen...
Voices, restless inner voice of thinking...painful knowledge...childhood memories and present ones.
Few and quiet sight you can meet in the shadows of the mountains, you mainly meet yourself and you cannot refuse to look inside out and reflect. In that rare sight you can read an entire life in the flicker of the wings of a dragonfly.
This Joycian "stream of consciousness" is just this struggling encounter with a sight which probably is mine, in this fields of nowhere and notime where the whisper of the leaves under the feet like a mantra brings us in such an estatic state of consciousness allowing the comunication with our most inner self.
